Spark People Solutions is currently recruiting a Staff Accountant on behalf of the BTN Chartered Professional Accountants – a growing Chartered Professional Accountants firm in Moose Jaw, SK. The start date on this role will depend on availability.

This role is responsible for providing taxation, accounting, bookkeeping, auditing and other engagements to a wide variety of clients within the agricultural, retail, manufacturing, service and other sectors.

Qualifications and Key Attributes

• Ability to work with a diverse client base 
• Works effectively under pressure 
• Self motivated 
• Strong communication skills (both written & oral, in English) 
• Working knowledge of accounting software programs such as CaseWare, TaxPrep, Quickbooks and Sage 50 
• Accounting designation, an asset
• Post secondary Diploma or Degree in commerce, accounting, or finance, an asset 
• 1-year previous experience in an accounting/bookkeeping environment

We are open Monday – Friday. 

Compensation package is based on both experience and education.
